A tragic incident occurred today in the region of El-Jehinet, located in the delegation of Bouhajla, Tunisia.

A woman in her fifties was reportedly killed by her cousin following a violent altercation over a disputed piece of agricultural land.

The confrontation escalated into a physical fight, ending with the victim receiving fatal stab wounds.

Local law enforcement officers from the National Guard in North Bouhajla responded promptly and arrested the suspect.

After consultation with the Public Prosecutor, a formal investigation has been opened, and legal proceedings are now underway.
